Our trip to Dublin - Sunday, 28th July

Day 1  - Monday, 29th July

Our first day in Atlas Language School was very amazing. We started the activity at 8:30. In school we met a lot of new students from different countries. Firstly, we had butterflies in our stomach but we broke the ice very quickly. We practised some questions to get to know our new school and the city of Dublin. This exercise was good fun and helped us to introduce ourselves to others, too. Thanks to the international collaboration everyone felt more relaxed and comfortable in the new social situation. On this day we had a conversation test with an Academic Manager, who stated our level of English.

After our English lessons we participated in an orientation tour of Dublin. We could see some places of interest to familiarize ourselves with this lovely city.

When the English lessons ended, everyone went to Saint Patrick's Cathedral. Saint Patrick's Cathedral is a National Cathedral of the Church of Ireland, a member church of the Anglican Communion.

Day 4 - Thursday, 1st July

After we got to know some new English vocabulary and grammar, we collaborated with each other. "English with Music" turned out to be a very useful activity during which teachers brought students into contact with Bob Marley's music. For everyone this activity was an opportunity not only to collaborate and have good fun but also to have a discussion with a partner and develop our English skills.

The Sunday was very amazing because we had have a good idea and went to the small village, where the land meets the sea and creates the most amazing natural environments for adventure and the great outdoors. We admired the beautiful cliffs during a 10-kilometer hike. It was a wonderful time spent surrounded by picturesque views. A visit to the port village was an opportunity to taste fresh fish and seafood.
